Seeded Digital was founded by Anthony Tuite in 2019 and has since evolved into a collaborative collective of experienced specialists across search, content, design, development and analytics.
Rather than operating as a traditional agency with large internal teams, Seeded brings together established consultants who have worked alongside one another for many years, combining independent expertise around the needs of B2B clients.
Each specialist continues to lead their own discipline while contributing to the wider Seeded approach. This allows us to combine deep expertise within individual specialisms with the joined-up thinking that increasingly matters across modern search, content, websites and measurement. Our clients benefit from direct access to experienced practitioners, while still gaining the breadth of capability that complex digital projects often require.
Many of the businesses we work with arrive with a similar challenge. The expertise within the business is considerable, but the website, content, search activity or reporting no longer reflects the quality of the organisation behind it. Rather than treating these problems as separate disciplines, we bring experienced specialists together around the commercial objectives of the business itself, helping organisations become easier to discover, easier to understand and easier to trust.
The relationship between expertise, technology and consultancy is changing rapidly. Artificial intelligence is reshaping how information is gathered, how analysis is performed and how professional work is delivered across almost every discipline.
For clients, this should be good news. Better tools ought to lead to better outcomes, faster delivery and greater value. Many of the activities that previously consumed days or weeks of specialist time can now be accelerated dramatically, allowing more attention to be devoted to interpretation, decision-making and the practical realities of the businesses involved.
At the same time, the emergence of these technologies has not reduced the importance of expertise. In many respects, it has increased it. Technology can organise information, identify patterns and process large volumes of data at remarkable speed, but it cannot reliably provide commercial judgement, practical experience, industry perspective or an understanding of the people, organisations and markets behind the data. The quality of the outcome still depends heavily on the quality of the people using the tools.
The question is no longer whether these technologies should be used. The question is how they are used, and by whom.
Historically, many of the capabilities available to larger agencies were simply inaccessible to smaller consultancies. Significant investment, large teams and substantial overheads often created barriers that made specialist knowledge difficult to scale.
That landscape is changing. Experienced practitioners can now build workflows, systems and tools that would previously have required entire departments. The same technologies reshaping large agencies are also allowing smaller specialist teams to deliver work that is faster, more insightful and often more closely aligned with the needs of clients.
This creates an important opportunity for growing businesses. The breadth of expertise traditionally associated with larger agencies can increasingly be delivered by smaller groups of experienced specialists, without layers of management, fragmented communication or unnecessary complexity. Senior practitioners remain closely involved in the work itself, decisions stay connected to commercial objectives and expertise remains close to delivery.
Every specialist within Seeded Digital actively uses modern tools, automation and AI-assisted workflows as part of their discipline. Research can be accelerated, data analysed more effectively, feedback organised more efficiently and opportunities identified more quickly. These technologies allow us to spend less time on repetitive tasks and more time applying experience, judgement and strategic thinking.
The value does not come from the technology alone. It comes from understanding which questions to ask, which signals matter, how information should be interpreted and how those insights apply to the realities of a particular business. The same tools placed in inexperienced hands often produce generic outputs and poor decisions, while experienced practitioners can use them to create substantial gains in quality, efficiency and value.
We believe expertise is becoming more valuable, not less.
Our Content Engine software is perhaps the clearest example of this philosophy in practice. By combining specialist knowledge, search expertise, structured data and modern AI capabilities, we have created a system that simply would not have been commercially viable before 2026. What once required extensive manual research, analysis and planning can now be carried out far more efficiently, allowing considerably more attention to be devoted to strategy, interpretation and the expertise that clients themselves bring to the process.
The technology provides the evidence and the structure, while human expertise provides the judgement, perspective and commercial understanding that give the work its value. This combination allows us to deliver work that is often faster, deeper and more commercially useful than previous approaches would have allowed, while keeping experienced practitioners closely involved in the decisions that matter most.
The Content Engine is only one example. Across search, analytics, design and development, the same opportunity exists: using modern technology to remove friction, reduce unnecessary effort and allow experienced specialists to spend more time where they create the greatest value.
Seeded Digital brings together independent specialists who have worked alongside one another for many years. Each consultant leads their own discipline while also understanding how their work contributes to the wider system. Search, content, design, development and analytics all solve different problems, but the strongest outcomes usually emerge when those disciplines work together around shared commercial objectives.
This model allows clients to benefit from the depth of specialist expertise while retaining the simplicity and continuity that growing businesses often value. Projects remain closely connected to the people doing the work, expertise stays close to delivery and clients have direct access to the specialists responsible for shaping the outcome.
By combining established independent expertise under a shared approach, Seeded is able to offer the breadth of a multidisciplinary team while remaining flexible, collaborative and closely involved in the work itself.
Search is changing. Websites are changing. Content is changing. The relationship between expertise and technology is changing too. We do not believe the answer is either to ignore these developments or to automate everything indiscriminately. The opportunity lies in combining experienced practitioners with better tools, better systems and more effective ways of delivering value.
We believe clients should increasingly expect work to become better, faster and more insightful as technology improves. At the same time, they should expect experienced specialists to remain closely involved in the decisions that matter. The future belongs to the people who understand how to combine expertise, technology and commercial understanding most effectively. As the barriers that once separated large agencies from specialist consultancies continue to diminish, experience, judgement and the intelligent use of technology become increasingly important.
That is the opportunity we believe exists for modern specialist consultancies, and ultimately it is the opportunity we want to create for our clients.
Many of the businesses we work with know their expertise is stronger than their digital presence suggests. They recognise that technology is changing, that expectations are shifting and that old approaches no longer feel entirely fit for purpose. If our way of thinking resonates with the challenges your business is facing, we’d be pleased to start a conversation.
